Raising two boys; one in Berlin from 1943 and me from 1947 in wartime and post-war Germany.

Then brought us to America along with your own mother.

Three suitcases and $200.

You gave us everything.

Gratitude and Joy for a life of struggle and heartbreak and never giving up.
